Getting eyes on a tall or hard-to-reach structure has traditionally meant scaffolding, a boom lift, a rope team or a full shutdown. Every one of those adds cost, adds scheduling friction, and puts a person at height. A drone carrying zoom and thermal payloads can capture the same surfaces from the air, usually while the asset stays in service.
We fly a structured capture pattern rather than a free-hand orbit, so the imagery is repeatable — the same elevations, the same altitudes, the same standoff distances on every visit. That turns an inspection from a one-off look into a baseline you can measure future condition against.

How it works
Scope and site review
We review the structure, the surrounding airspace and any access or safety constraints, then agree what needs to be seen and at what level of detail.
Flight planning
Flight lines, altitudes and standoff distances are planned around the asset, along with any airspace authorisation the location requires.
Capture
We fly the planned pattern, recording optical and, where relevant, radiometric thermal imagery of every nominated surface.
Review and delivery
Imagery is sorted, geotagged and delivered with observations tied back to their exact location on the structure.
Common questions
Does the asset have to be shut down?
Usually not. Most inspections are flown while the structure stays in service, which is one of the main reasons operators move to aerial capture in the first place. If your particular site does need a shutdown or an exclusion zone, that gets identified at the scoping stage — not on the day.
What level of detail can you resolve?
Ground sample distance depends on how close the site allows us to fly and which payload suits the job. Rather than quote a fixed number that may not hold at your site, we agree a target level of detail during scoping and plan altitudes and standoff distances to meet it.
Can you inspect confined or enclosed structures?
Flying inside enclosed spaces is a distinct discipline with its own equipment and planning requirements. Describe what you need to see and we will confirm whether it is in scope before you commit to anything.
