Assessment work runs on documented condition: what the asset looked like, when it was looked at, and whether the damage being claimed is the damage actually present. Roofs, outbuildings and large or damaged structures are exactly where getting a person up safely is slowest — and exactly where the assessment is most likely to be delayed as a result.

Aerial capture produces geotagged, timestamped imagery of a whole structure in a single visit, including elevations that are difficult or impossible to photograph from the ground. Where heat is relevant — moisture ingress, missing insulation — thermal adds a layer a visual inspection simply cannot reach.
